Hartman Park is a beautiful recreational facil-
ity on the southwest side of Springfield. Most of
the area is open grass at the bottom of a few
hills. Hartman is surrounded by wooded areas
on three sides, making it feel warm and inviting.
There are park benches for relaxation, picnic
tables for eating lunch, and a basketball court
for having fun. This is a perfect park for spend-
ing time with friends and family, playing a pick-
up game of basketball after school or ultimate
Frisbee with a big group.
