Cherokee Park is both a neighborhood and
school park located on the southwest side of
Springfield.This beautiful park shares land with
Cherokee School and is an excellent place for
after school play. It is open and large, ideal for
big group games. You will also find a basketball
court, playground, soccer field, fitness trail and
The park is easily accessible and a great place
for people of all ages to come and enjoy the out-
doors. Mature shade trees are found through-
out the park, offering an inviting place to relax
on sunny days. The area is also perfect for cross
country running, for the land has slight slopes
throughout and is pleasing to the eye.

in southwest Springfield.
From the corner of
Sunshine and Campbell,
take Campbell south past
the James River Freeway.
Make a left onto county
road 182 and a left on
Holland. Take another left
on Canterbury to park in
the neighborhood parking.
Parking is also available in
the Cherokee Middle
School parking lot when
school is not in session.
