ADDRESSES AND GENERAL ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION SOURCES

Many organizations monitor what is happening of environmental  interest in Washington, and then provide information on current events, and how our representatives have voted. Some of these organizations also send out Environmental Action Alerts in which they identify critical current events, provide information and background upon them, and ask recipients to contact appropriate individuals.  While these often involve federally elected officials, sometimes they involve corporate leaders, or relevant figures internationally.

Some of these organizations provide web pages from which visitors can send either e-mail or fax messages to the appropriate target individual. It's possible to sign up for these Action Networks and receive the alerts as they are written.

I maintain an Action Network of individuals, to whom I forward the alerts that I receive.  If you'd like to receive the alerts directly, contact the organization. If you'd like to join my Action Network, please just e-mail me, and I'll add you to the list. Generally these organizations do not charge for becoming a member of their network - neither do I.  Our objective is to influence the political or corporate climate, not make money.

Some of the organizations are listed below.  The web addresses are linked directly to the organizations - just click on 'em to make the connection.
