Bypass the crowds and explore a quiet Ozark stream on our laid back

Preserve,

We'll enjoy the beauty of the Flint Hills with an easy, 6 mile hike,
and explore the historic barn and ranch house. We'll finish up with
a casual dinner at the Hays House in nearby Council Grove before

Park, Brownville, NE
Indian Cave State Park is located within a majestic hardwood forest
that overlooks the Missouri River in southeast Nebraska. There are

29 (Saturday) Annual Squaw Creek NWR Bird watching Trip, Mound City,
MO
Nearly a half million ducks & geese stop at Squaw Creek on their
way south each winter. 200 Bald and Golden eagles pass through or
winter here as well. We’ll spend the afternoon at this 7,000
acre wetlands and welcome them all to Missouri. Great for kids of

Guidelines
Sierra Club outings are open to members and non-members alike. If
you would like to attend an outing, contact the leader of that trip
at least a week in advance of the outing. A monetary donation may
be requested on some outings. Any monies donated go towards supporting
and perpetuating our outings program. Check the latest outings updates

Trip leaders may restrict the size of the group and may screen participants
for the skills and equipment necessary for the particular type of
outing being conducted. All participants on Sierra Club outings
are required to sign a standard liability waiver. If you would like
to read the liability waiver before you choose to participate on
an outing, please go to: http://www.sierraclub.org/outings/chapter/forms,
or contact the Outings Department at (415) 977-5528 for a printed
version. A note about carpooling: In the interests of facilitating
the logistics of some outings, it is customary that participants
make carpooling arrangements. The Sierra Club does not have insurance
for carpooling arrangements and assumes no liability for them.

Carpooling,
ride sharing or anything similar is strictly a private arrangement
among the participants. Participants assume the risks associated
with this travel. Pets are not allowed on outings unless specifically
approved in advance by the leader. All outings are non smoking.
