Come to the Capitol with the Sierra Club
The 2013 Missouri Legislative session has just begun - bringing with it the
potential for positive change as well as mischief.
We need you to join with other Sierra Club members and supporters and come to
Jefferson City to talk to your legislators. Senators and Representatives need to
know that Missourians support clean air and water as well as renewable energy
and greater energy efficiency.
This year we will have four Sierra Club Lobby Days. Each Lobby Day we will be
focusing on a specific region of the state. However, all Lobby Days are open to
all who want to work to protect Missouri's environment. If the date set for your
regional Lobby Day is not convenient for you, please sign up for one of the
other dates.
The dates are as follow:
January 30 - Eastern Missouri Group
February 27 - Osage Group (Central Missouri)
April 3 - Thomas Hart Benton Group (Northwestern Missouri, including
Kansas City)
April 23 - White River Group (Southwestern Missouri)
To sign up and learn details, click the date you are interested in going. We
will begin at 10 a.m. - please be in front of the cafeteria in the basement of
the Missouri Capitol Building at 9:50 a.m. We should be finished by 3 p.m.
Missouri's environment needs your voice in Jefferson City.
